Lego Digital Designer from The Lego Company is a program for planning lego models on your computer.
It has everything from wheels to chickens and minifig bits in between.
LDD is perfect for creating new models with parts you may not have yet or for making a computer model of your favourite set using the instructions that lego make.
You simply select a part from the massive library in the left column and place it on the grid.
You can use the arrow keys to turn it and when placed use the paint tool to colour it, you can even use stickers on some parts like minifig bodies and heads.
You can send your file to your friends so they can enjoy it to and it will even make instructions for you so you can build it in the real world.
