Not all builds are big in fact its amazing what you can do at a small scale.
These futuristic racers by 4estFeller prove just that.
Here is a link to some great close ups.

Hope you have some left over stickers to decorate your winning build cause the race is on.
Carl Greatrix aka bricktrix over on flickr loves them too.
If your into some serious building then you may want to head over for some inspiration.
His cars have a lot of detail and he even makes his own stickers.
Here's a quick look.
Now head over and check out the rest in his photo stream.
What are you waiting for... oh

When your done break out your bricks and take some wheels for a spin.
See if you can build the best car ever.
One thing that's really interesting to try is called an alternative build.
An alternative build is where you take a set like 8085 Freeco Speeder and make one of your own designs using only the pieces from that set.
Here are the pieces all laid out
After playing around with some different ideas I came up with a nifty ship that looks a bit like a Naboo Starfighter
I started building the part where the figure sits and built the rest around that. Here's another view.
Imagine what you could make with a larger set, give it go.
Here's a short little comic I made.
It happens on the desert sands of Tatooine in the Star Wars Universe, I hope you like it.
It's fun making up your own stories and turning them into drawings or photos so grab a friend or two and see what you can come up with this weekend.
Combine X-men and LEGO and everything equals awesome in my view. Look whats just come out from our favorite plastic brick company.
This one comes with Wolverine, Storm, and Cyclops flying a jet plane all bent on breaking the Sentinel into bricky bits. But Magneto is also in the pack and he can't wait for the flaps on the box to open so he can wreak magnetic mayhem. Don't wait for your friends, grab this one as soon as it hits the shelf.
Why not build some walls with windows for sneaky attacks or to simply bust through, or team up your other superheroes in preparation for the coming of the Sentinels.
It's history time here at AusBB and one of the newest new new sets based on a movie from the 1980's called Ghostbusters.
The set contains the four main Ghostbuster characters and their car the Ecto-1.
I was still in school when the movie came out and I must have watched it around 24 times before I had enough.
It's not a spooky film in fact it's very funny so if you haven't seen it then get out and find a copy to watch with your friends, before you know it you will be singing the theme song while building yourself a haunted library or something else that needs Ghostbusting.
One of The Lego Movies most popular characters is Benny. Benny is part of a Lego theme known as Classic Space. Back when I was a lad it was simply called Space and was the first time Lego had made sets along these lines. Since then there have been Exploriens, Ice Planet, Mars Mission and Space Police along with Alien Invasion.
One of the newest sets this year is Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, Spaceship and this has brought about a renewed interest in Classic Space and so I thought I would re-design some of the vehicles I liked from my childhood days.
Have you ever tried to make a Lego set better by adding your own ideas?
